It's currently Safe R, and remains so even with this.

Even if Bentvolio gets his 3,000 votes, that's not going to be anywhere near enough to cause a major, major upset.

In addition to being a Chamber of Commerce stooge, Trott is also a disgusting human being. If I lived in the district, I would vote for Bentivolio.

I think I posted something in the Michigan Megathread a few weeks back about him considering this. The House needs more reindeer ranchers, so Bentivolio fills a much-needed void.

Same here. Bentivolio is one of the few good Congressmen right now. It's a shame he lost his primary.

I really, really liked him and really did not like Trott. I would write in Bentivolio enthusiastically. I would actually not be too upset if McKenzie wins if we can get Bentivolio back in 2016.

This will not effect the race. I highly doubt Bentivolio will crack 5% and Trott will still win easily.
