These "battleground aggregate" polls are always worthless trash. Didn't they show Romney winning them by double digits as well?

Not to mention, did they ask for head-to-head matchup with specific candidates? Or was it a generic "would you vote for a Republican or Democrat for US Senate?"

Obviously, campaign and candidate quality matters.

KY, Ia, CO, AK, NC looks promising. Incumbants Pryor and Landrieu appear to be the endangered seats.

Oh good lord, this crap again?

I guess it'll make a fine talking point for Sean Hannity and all of the other talking heads who understand nothing about polling.

They'd soon be whining about the money the federal government would lose, since California sends more to the treasury than we get back.

Just like how the hick and redneck counties in the north and east discovered they'd be screwed without Sacramento cutting them checks if they seceded from the state.

Anyway, there are too many local dynamics in this year's races (education in NC, family names in AR and LA, independent in Kansas, McConnell's unpopularity yet getting red state boost) for national senate polls to be significant this year.

You forgot family names in Alaska and Georgia as well. Wink

Probably 9 out of 10. Tongue

I'm surprised not more people wanted to kick out Vermont and Hawaii, even Maryland. Tongue Or maybe they simply didn't want their dream holiday spot to become a foreign country? Wink

I'm not sure all respondents have even heard of Vermont or Maryland... I guess they would have heard of Hawaii but it's a cool looking sunny place so why kick them out ?
