Some of these AFP people are nuts. SHARIA IS COMING!

Maybe now that you have to be in the field with these people, you'll realize the only Prosperity they're interested in is the kind that helps their donors' bottom line and gets the rubes all angry and irate about Muh Terrorists and Muh Welfare/Voter Fraud.

I knew that from the start, and I don't care. AFP is not alone in that by any stretch. I'm interested in just advancing my campaign experience.

My husband just got accepted to study law.

Congratulations to him. Where is he going?

Are there any particularly salient or famous difference between Scots and English law that one should be aware of? I know they're different in general, and I know about the 'not proven' verdict, but that's the extent of my knowledge.

So, on the way back from Tallynasty one of the guys in the van lost his wedding ring and we had to pull over for a solid hour to look for it. I got home at 4:00 AM. The trip was fun but I am not looking forward to the drive up there when I start college in August.

Ah. And if he goes the barrister route someday, he can buy one of those wigs for about 4,000 pounds or something (only in the UK and Hong Kong are they worn now). The Brit legal system is just infinitely superior to the American one in my view. It's not even close.

I had a job interview for a city in the afternoon, as an office assistant with the department of public safety. I think I did... average. They weren't exactly friendly, and they didn't ask that many questions. An hour after this interview, I received a call from a woman who worked in human resources for a different city, who I had emailed yesterday to ask if I could interview her. So I interviewed her by phone. The reason I had to interview her was to include her information in my paper, which is about.... how governments can hire the best individuals.

So it was a very metaphysical day.

So I managed to wade into campus politics, and will be on the Board of Resaerch Advisors for the UCLA External VP. Specifically I'll be Chief of Political Research,  I'm going to be advising the EVP on how to effectively lobby the State Legislature as well as the Board of Regents, in order to keep tuition rates from rising, and hopefully, to lower them.

This will be fun.

Is anyone in NYC or nearby looking for a roommate? My cousin got a job offer there, but he hasn't been able to find affordable housing. He asked me to spread the word around, so any help is welcome.

So I have some cousins in Pennsylvania who are total f[Inks]s and caused a lot of emotional damage to me when they successfully convinced me that I was autistic a few years back. I worked for three years to erase those memories with my therapist and tonight, in one sentence, my mom accidentally brought back everything which has put me in a rather poisonous mood.

God, that's awful. What the hell was wrong with your cousins?

Wish you best.

I have the worst case of senioritis in my life.

One 15 page of how governments can hire the best people is about 90% done. (due this Wednesday)
The second 15 page paper on whistleblowing by federal employees is about.. 70% done (due this Tuesday)

They are my absolute last finals of my entire college career.

Thinking about it, today is probably the day I'm nearest to President Obama:

Obama is in Elmau (Bavaria) today for the G7 summit, which is 3 miles away from where Cranberry lives and 150 miles away from where I am.

Obama decided to drink a good old Bavarian Weizen (beer), which is understandable because it has 32°C (90°F) here (and there) right now:

Obama also said that he forgot his Lederhosen back at the White House ... Tongue
