On my way to the gas station, I noticed a man eyeing me as I walked up the street. When I exited the gas station, he was up my street checking out houses. My dad says I should call the police, but my mom says I shouldn't because I'll look like a racist. I stopped to talk to an elderly neighbor and we watched the man check house after house, and he tried to enter an abandoned one.

Should I bother calling the non emergency line for the police? This guy was definitely up to no good judging by how he tried to enter an abandoned house and went into other people's yards/driveways, but I don't know if this is worth the police's time.

Update: an officer came by, thanked me for calling, and they're looking for the guy. The area has a history of burglary so I made the right decision.

Yesterday evening I was probably the drunkest I've ever been, so that was quite... interesting. My drunk persona is very weird.

Had a small hiatus from forum because my laptop smashed up during a journey. Currently writing on a tablet a friend sold me, so if I make typos blame that.

I also accidentally knocked over my cactus in my room before i left last year, so it's awkward bending rihjtwards

1. I had a very, very Atlas moment today. At a skywalk/observation tower, I was chatting with the guide (in Spanish), who is a law student, and mentioned I'm working with law classes here and he began telling me about the constitutional law stuff he's studied and randomly asked me in Spanish 'what was that judicial review decision with Madison?'
