So, I just went to a reception hosted by the city for the winners of the essay contest that I mentioned earlier. I had an awkward meeting with the mayor, who I shouted at during a heated city council meeting a few months back. Was pretty funny.

Went to the slots for the first time last night. $60 went up in flames, but it was so awesome. I should do it more often. Cheesy

Well, it's finally over. Twenty years of schooling, and today I took my last school exam ever, inshallah.

Bar review class begins on Tuesday.

I saw some wild turkeys in my neighborhood, which was a fun, unusual sight.

Currently, I'm planning a summer vacation in Maine.

Six hours of being stranded at a junky little station in Wytheville, VA...all because one Greyhound broke down.

But alas, Greyhound is truly the way to get anywhere in 'ol Appalchia if one lacks a car.

That is why I'm posting this at 5-something AM

Knocked on 150 doors for Americans for Prosperity today, and I may have a job lined up as a field associate for ten dollars an hour, plus mileage, this summer. I even went by my former middle school librarians house only to find her and my first grade teacher on the patio talking, which was awesome! I got surveys out of both of them and spent a few minutes catching up.

A friend and his other half from America staying with us (who was not injured) was involved in a serious road traffic accident. His other half is here and will be here for as long as it takes but our friend has been unconscious for three days and is critical. Things are a little tough right now.
