My father (former Paulite) claims to have voted for Sanders in NH primary. Unsure how truthful that is.

Well, don't head into the basement. People who spend all their time in basements have weakened immune systems, regardless of whether it's because they're held prisoner there or just hiding from mommie and the rest of the real world by being down there.

Got contacted just a moment ago by Trump's campaign office down the street from me, let's say the conversation was very interesting.

Had a conversation last night with a friend of mine who's in an accelerated five-year bachelors/masters computer program (it'd be an MS in "Information Assurance"). Apparently you don't actually need to already have computer skills to get in, which is cool, and she's interviewing with frickin' BAE--British Aerospace Engineering or whatever. Incredibly jealous, but I hate technology, and if I went onto do my dream job, it'd be much more theory-based than "cybersecurity" (can barely stand the word "cyber"; sounds like something a sixty-year old uses to sound "hip to the jive" on "tech"). And apparently all the Information Assurance grad courses are online, which means the school charges half-price. Tired of the feeling that the best path to employment in the field I want to get involved in something I have absolutely no instinct for. Looks like academia might be my best bet. Tongue F#cking computer nerds had to destroy the national security field.

They have conquered and destroyed every field they have touched.

I passed a Cruz bus heading the opposite way on I-26 as I headed to church this morning.  No idea if he was on his was to an event in Columbia after doing one in the upstate this morning or if the bus was being moved empty.  Possibly someone who cares about his schedule could tell me.

He didn't have any events today, but Beck might've been on it because I know Tony Perkins and him were Stumping for Cruz.

Wow, Dar, that's pretty cool! Probably the least-bad President of my lifetime. And the "it's okay to fall down as long as you can get back up" line is good enough to make someone seem like an expert speaker even with Jeb!-awkward delivery.

Although you holding the Hillary sign is pretty ironic. Everyone around you did a great job keeping their cool around a guy with a white square for a head.

So college is turning out better and better...

Received news that I have been accepted as a Resident Adviser for next school year; I not only got the position but have been placed in an upperclassman-only dorm (I am currently a freshman, will be a sophomore next school year), so I won't have to deal with freshmen! It's a very competitive program so I thought that there was no way I would even get it at all. A lot of friends of mine who I felt were more qualified than I am didn't even get alternate Sad

Between my summer research gig and this, I feel like I have everything working out for me for about the first time in my life.
