Today I received a customer satisfaction survey robocall concerning a product I recently got and the canned female voice identified itself as Mya.  Needless to say, I hung up quicker than usual.

1) You gave your  phone number to a company regarding a product you bought?

And

2) You have a landline?


This makes Grumpy sad.

It was eyeglasses.  The optical shop needed the number to let me know when it came in.  Actually the call came in on my cell phone instead of my landline.  (Incidentally, I have a rotary dial phone hooked up to my landline, tho I seldom use that handset.)

Ha ha, makes sense.

My girlfriend's been in very poor health the past couple weeks.

I have walking pneumonia......it sucks.   But being a small business owner I can't afford lots of employees so I'm working. THANKS OBAMA.

A few posts above I mentioned that an older brother of mine died a few weeks ago.  Not a single condolence response from any of you?  Ok.  Nice "community."

Bad day turned into a very good day. 

It started bad because I was having the most epic and incredible sex dream possible, something that reality probably can not itself match, because I don't see myself ever sleeping with this Victoria's Secret model.

There isn't a VS model that sees herself ever sleeping with you, so no worries, HawkerDude.

So, I went for another run, like usual. I clocked in on the scale today, and was pretty happy to see with where I am at. I still have a few pounds left to lose, but I'm getting close.  Life is good.

Does this mean I can't call you BIG Daddy anymore?

Well, it's finally over. Twenty years of schooling, and today I took my last school exam ever, inshallah.

Bar review class begins on Tuesday.

Well, my political career in Hudson (have you all heard of Hudson?) has formally commenced. I have been appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals. I emailed the new Mayor's aide expressing my interest, and 30 minutes later got a call from the Mayor appointing me. That was quick!

The Public Official's Liability Insurance policy will be humming now with all the "declined" requests for variances.   Life is good, eh?
