Those of us who actually know something about politics know that SurveyUSA has always had very weird cross tabs, even when the top lines turn out to be accurate.

SUSA always has crazy crosstabs but accurate top line numbers. That's been the case for many, many years.

This is just classic SUSA. I wouldn't call this garbage just because the results. But I do want to see if other pollsters corroborate this result, or if its just an outlier.

And my point still stands.

I just don't understand how cross tabs can be out of whack across the board (key part of the sentence) and the overall result still makes sense.

Uh? That's the whole point of random sampling. A sum of inaccurate observations can produce an overall accurate result.
