Android. I picked up a Galaxy S4 this weekend and love it. Really the only real advantage iOS has is that they tend to have more internal storage and that you can always download app updates instantly when they drop while Android has no real way to "force update"...but of course Android doesn't require Apple's approval for every single update like iOS meaning every update ends up on Android first.

I don't get why on Earth Obama still uses a BlackBerry. Especially since the only reason BlackBerry is still in business is all their intellectual property holdings and the surprising popularity of BlackBerrys in a couple African countries, kind of like how Friendster became the main social network of SE Asia after everyone in North America abandoned and MySpace is inexplicably still fairly popular and almost as used as Facebook in the Netherlands.

Android. I will never buy an Apple product, but I feel like I'm the only one who feels that way.

Are you kidding me? Apple contrarianism is the biggest thing in technology right now.

iPhone 6 Plus. I'm not a member of the Cult of Apple, by any means (I shudder at the thought of using Mac OS because I'm so used to Windows), but I don't get all the iOS hatred. I've had four iPhones and take sh[inks] every time I get one from some because I can't install non-approved apps or some other fanboy BS.

Is it OK that I just have and stick with a phone that I like and works for me?

I don't actually own a phone, though I borrow my dad's flip phone since he never uses it. (Living in 2004)

Not at all. But going in the other direction toward iOS if you're used to another phone can be pretty difficult. iOS 8 fixed a lot of my biggest complaints about it though, especially that iCloud's photo backup system used to be terrible.

Nah, BRTD, the reason that BlackBerry is still in business is that businesses and government use them.

Yup, it's been standard issue blackberrys for a while now.  Their security was always touted.  However, this maybe final death knell for bb because iphones are being issued to many now.

Android for personal.  I prefer bb to iphone for work.

Verizon LG

One that makes phone calls and can text but isn't internet connected, that's what computers are for.

I have an iPhone 4, and I plan on getting a 5 in January.

I enjoy having it, but it feels weird using the same phone that is associated with hipsters.

Andriod.  Galaxy S4, have had it since it first came out (which was basically timed perfectly with my upgrade)

I'm surprised so many business's still prefer to use bb's.  Iphone's and Android's can pretty much do anything a BB can do anyway.

Android (MotoX), I don't like spending money on a brand (except for Levis and Carhartt).

A BlackBerry can do pretty much anything a business wants it to do and the sparsity of 3rd party apps available for it make it unlikely their employees will download unauthorized apps that would affect the phone's security.  That said, the iPhone is poised to take over the role of the "secure" phone.

I was this way myself...until the day I got my first smartphone.  Now, I'm not going to say something stupid like "I can't live without it", those people are liars and assholes, but it is a very nice tool to own.
