The NRSC is pulling its money from advertising on behalf of Terry Lynn Land.

Should've done that months ago. Everyone knew she'd bomb from the beginning.

Republicans admit they messed up badly here, and have no choice but to abandon it. Nice.

Well, seriously, she had a chance to be competitive, she was just an awful candidate.

I think Democrats were (are) spending too much here.

I'd rather the Democrats do the responsible thing and use a few extra nails to seal the coffin.

Shame. Land bombed a really winnable race; a year ago she was enjoying a clear lead. That's what happens, I guess: there're candidates who've earned this money more.

I was argued with time and time again, but lo and behold, I was right on the mark about this race all along.

If they're taking money out of here, they should also take money away from freaking TOM CORBETT. Put their resources where they need it.

Assuming Chris Christie is looking out for Republican chances and not his own ambition. Tongue

The thing about Peters, is yes, he may be a liberal, and all of that, but he is low key, and has a good temperament, and is honest, and earnest, and that makes him rather unusual actually in this hair blow dried, media driven, superficial political environment. So yes, game over it seems to me.

This reminds me of when the McCain campaign gave up on MI in 2008.

Former Michigan Gov. John Engler should have ran and he would have given Peters a good run.

That would have been hilarious.
