In general, yes, but it depends on the circumstances (moderate hero, normal, etc.)

I think so. The house I live in was built in the 15th-century so it's not unrealistic to assume that some unpleasant things, including murder, might have happened within these walls at some point.

Well sure I might then, in Europe, where "not long ago" can refer to the 15th century.  In America, heck no.

Oh, I didn't read the "not too long ago" part.

But I think my answer would still be yes. Unless the house was located in a neighbourhood where crime and murders aren't uncommon, I think I wouldn't mind.

Probably not, it would be a little creepy, though I'd have take the incentives into account.

It depends on what time of neighborhood it is, but as long as it's in a nice area then yes.

No, and not because I would be afraid its haunted. Thinking about a possible murder taking place in that house or apartment would bug me every day.

If the rent was reduced, absolutely.

But you have contradicted yourself.  One of the most common, and oldest, definitions of "to haunt" is to be persistently and disturbingly present.  You can use the word "bug" if you like, but your description is precisely that your thoughts would haunted daily by the fact that a murder took place.

Yeah, I would.

Generally, though, if there was a murder that occurred not too long ago, that means it's in a bad area/neighborhood; so other factors might make me a no.
