Former Mayor of Reykjavik for the Best Party and entertainer, writer, punk musician etc. Jon Gnarr is moving to Houston, where Rice University has provided him and his family with a free house (artist residence) on campus for a year starting on January 14.
Gnarr has spent a lot of time in the US lately and made his American stand-up debut at the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin on August 31. Dunno if he is funny in English, but you can judge for yourself:
