The race was never a toss-up, because Peters is a strong incumbent and received the Chamber of Commerce endorsement. Those are pretty weak numbers for those who don't believe the story, so clearly it's not a good thing for DeMaio's campaign, especially at this late stage.

The outcome of this particular race isn't hugely important to me, I just wanted to know if there was anything to back up the charge.
