University of Mary Washington Poll
Warner 47%
Gillespie 37%
Sarvis 6%
None/Would Not Vote 3%

October 1-6; 444 LV; MoE +/- 5.3 points.

Among RVs, it's 50-30-6-5.  Among Adults, it's 49-26-6-7.

The poll was taken for the university by Princeton Survey Research Associates International.  The sample was 50% landline, 50% cell phone.

They have RVs as Warner +20. It looks the LV screen is too tight (the sample also went for Cuccinelli, even though he lost in an off-off-year).

Wow, one month go to and 55% of LVs haven't heard enough of Gillespie to have an opinion on him. What a horrible campaigner. One of the weakest candidates in the cycle.

Warner in the end might win by a similar margin to what Casey did in Pennsylvania in 2012. Not a blowout but a safe 8-11 points.

That would be a shame since Warner actually seems to be running a campaign, unlike Casey.

Casey even had an opponent who compared being raped to having a kid out of wedlock, but Casey being anti-abortion was not able to benefit.
