Also in regards to the advertisers not liking the links that were posted, let me pose the following scenario:

I demand that krazen be banned and state that if he isn't I'm going to post hardcore pornography on the forum. He isn't, so I start posting hardcore porn. The ad company finds out and sends a notice to Dave in regards to this, so to get me to stop krazen is banned.

Because the equivalent of that is basically what happened.

You came here after dazzleman, but he actually made sexual comments about underage girls, and there was a mass outrage when someone called him a pedophile.

Had this been done in a Voltaire way of "of course Opebo is absolutely atrocious but I still think we shouldn't ban even the most reprehensible views" it would have been one thing. The mindless fawning over him as the best and greatest person ever is a different story. Which is what I wrote about.

That's the issue for me. Yes, I wan't exactly fond of him, his BS and his outright hypocrisy... but the response to his departure that he was some kind of martyred hero was really too much to bear.
