Everyone but the most right-wing hacks will answer Barack Obama to this question within the next decade or two.

Barack Obama -years from now, when the dust has settled after the end of his presidency, historians will agree with that assessment.

If anything, Bloody Bill's economic policies--financial deregulation, directly allowing the further consolidation of media companies, gutting welfare to use as a racist campaign plank, proudly signing and then campaigning on a federal ban on same-sex marriage, a free trade agreement that directly harmed both American workers and Mexican farmers (along with beseiging Iraq for his entire presidency, supporting the IMF's shoving neoliberal capitalism and austerity down Eastern Europe's throat, expanding the American Empire into the former Eastern Bloc and to a major extent causing the Russian revanchism we see today, and bombing Serbia because they pissed off the IMF) make him the most effective president of the last half-century in his direct attacks on the American working class. I have no reason to think the Harpy will be any better when she ascends to office in three years.

Not like the options given are all that great. If it were 100 and not 50 years, I would have said Coolidge.
