Pretty sure the last time a Democrat (Angus King = I) won a county in a Maine Senate election was 1996 (can't find a map but assume with a 6pt margin it wouldn't be a sweep).

I haven't even suggested that Bellows will win, so no idea why there's so much hate against me. Tongue All I've said is that she's narrowed the gap by 20% since the beginning of the campaign, which is a big deal! Not many other candidates in any state can show up anything similar, if anyone at all? Well Orman obviously has, which makes them two. Tongue

Forgetting for a second that she's hands down my favorite Senator in DC, I think there are very clearly several who are worse, even if you don't like her.
