I'm a fairly hardcore gamer and I don't give two sh**ts about this drama.  I'd imagine most self described hardcore gamers are the same.

A.gaming magazines suck and are mostly irrelevant
B.this story might be a big deal in the genre of games this chick makes, but for the other 95% of gamerdom, it's an after thought at best.  We've got other sh**t to bitch about like how they nerfed my favorite gun or why won't they fix the lag issue

The problem with Sarkeesian is not that she's "radical" (nor is she, I've never heard her talk about "PIV" and strap ons for lesbian being a tool of the patriarchy or attack trans people) it's that her videos are full of over generalizations and inaccuracies and she never responds to her serious critics, only trolls.
