This could be a good thread to show/discuss some especially effective/creative campaign ads.

I like this ad from the Democrats against Bob Dold, using the style of a car commercial.

Very partisan but quite appropriate for this fairly liberal district.  I like Dold better, but this is a dang good ad.

Carl Domino's action movie ad is my favorite this cycle.

Mary Burke also had a great ad invoking Reagan.

No, no, no. He is running in the district to my north and his ads are on TV all the time. This ad is awful. I like Carl Domino (and for that matter, Patrick Murphy) and I even had lunch with him once, but this ad is really, really bad.

Is this for campaign ads from the forum community or something?

This thread should probably be moved to Congressional Elections, maybe even Individual Politics.

Anyway, my two favorites:

One of the teachers from my sister's middle school did an ad for Hagan. He got his start teaching from a scholarship that no longer exists thanks to Thom Tillis. Hagan has a done a number of similar ads with teachers/parents affected by Tillis' recklessness, but I think Justin's is the best.

This one from Greg Abbott is really good. He talks about rebuilding his strength after his accident by wheeling himself up flights in a garage. I'm an exercise nut and have worked hard to lose 30+ lbs in the past few years, so I kinda identify with Abbott here.
