Well, as long as the rest of the world enters recession, I think we are in pretty good shape with inflation no matter what we do within reason.

Regardless of what you think about inflation, using this as justification for more asset purchases is just dumb. Most of the QE funds haven't even been lent out yet...the issue isn't that banks don't have enough money to lend (they're more loaded than ever), it's that the economy hasn't strengthened to the point that they are comfortable lending it out.
