This might be the worst bill I've ever seen.

I know, normally I wouldn't have allowed it to reach the floor, but the last attempt to get rid of it failed, so...

I'll support the motion to table whenever it arises. Nothing that could be said could make me support something like this. It's a waste of time in my view and accomplishes nothing.

I'm disturbed that so many members of the Senate would vote to table a bill that would create millions of jobs. Don't you care about the unemployed even an ounce? The reactions here are par for the course, though, given the alignment of the Fedoralist Party and the so-called "People's Party" with the parasites with whom this bill takes issue.

Putting one segment of our socioeconomic strata to work via taxpayer dollars on a project of intimidation of another is anti-Atlasian. I know the average Atlasian economist is left of center but only the most radical support this plan. Do you see the rich doing that in the "projects" or the "red light districts"? I don't think so.

I care quite a lot. Why not build houses? Fix roads? Hell, put money into building hovercraft for everyone! There are other ways and almost all of them are better than this.

Enough to know that you're trying to engage in an extreme and violent reverse of it. Though you're a radical socialist I'd figure you would want property tax values to go up through the wealthy or businesses moving in those areas because that's more money in the federal piggy bank. Intimidating those folks have quite the opposite effect. Don't you want kids to get the best possible education by the best teachers possible? Bringing wealthy folks into neighborhoods will lead to better equipment and teachers into those school systems. Why do you think charter schools are wildly successful IRL? Imagine if we had schools that were not beholden to big government or to big religion to compete with public or religious schools. Who but the wealthy and busisnesses would be bankrolling them? Oh that's right. Atlasia is so adverse to charter schools that folks outlawed those or have threatened them into being turned into public schools and towing the government's line.

Well, quite.

I haven't bothered to say anything because it's obvious, and completely right, that this is heading for a 9-1 vote.
