Which Kentucky Democrat has the best chance of winning Rand Paul's seat in 2016 if the Kentucky senator runs for president in 2016? Alison Lundergan Grimes? Ben Chandler? Adam Edelen?

Grimes could win it, depending on how well she does in this election.

Beshear would be the best candidate, unfortunately he probably won't run.

Grimes, probably. Without Obama weighing her down and the media being in McConnell's back pocket, she could definitely win it.

Edelen. I think Grimes is too damaged from this race to run for another Senate seat.

Any of them could win. They almost certainly would, if only the right-wing media would stop its lying (which it won't).

Edelen.

I'd like Chandler but his loss in 2012 was beyond disappointing for me.

I think Chandler peaked around the time he was Attorney General.

Edelen. I suspect Beshear is done with politics and I don't expect Grimes to do much better a second time around.

Beshear would be 72. I think if Grimes makes it a close race, she should at least try again, as 2016 would likely be a more favorable environment.

Grimes I think will be back in 2016, I think she may run for Senate again if Paul runs for president.

I'd rather have another crappy Republican over Beshear.

Those who are voting for Grimes are now wrong. Officially.
