It is installing right now.  It will take another 90 minutes or so.

"Whoops, looks like I downloaded the 64-bit version instead of the 32-bit version. Guess I'll have to go back to watching TV while I wait."

"Finally installed, now to- oh wait, time for Family Dinner #6. No time for CAD now."

"What's my username again? Maybe going to Braum's will jog my memory."

"Well now I forgot my password. There's a question I have to answer...oh wait, forgot the answer to the Forgot Your Password Question. Time for Bible study."

Have you tried Destination XL? That's the chain fat store near me. Their website says they have a store at 5401 N. May Avenue

No, they cater to cheap.  We used to buy stuff at Kohl's because it's so inexpensive, thinking we were getting a really good deal, but their stuff falls apart too easily.  Even Walmart stuff is better made than Kohl's.  We don't shop at Kohl's anymore.

Kohl's is good for name-brand shoes at a great price.  And, ironically considering our current arch, khakis.  For jeans or shirts, never.

Kohl's shoes are the worst.  They break apart within a year.  Nordstrom's has good shoes.  I bought my last pair of dress shoes there, but it's sort of expensive for every-day shoes.  I get my every-day shoes now at TJ Maxx.  The pair I'm wearing at the moment is Nunn Bush Jefferson, with Comfort Gel® support (depicted below).  $24.99 at TJ Maxx.  Of course, TJ Maxx is touch and go.  They rotate stock and I can't always find what I want.  They almost never have a selection of little boys' shoes.

When my son was really small Kohl's was okay, because he would always outgrow things before they fell apart.  Now he can wear something for more than one season, and so we go to places like JCPenney's and Boscov's.  Macy's has good stuff too, but it tends to be more expensive.

Yeah, I bought a pair of black boots from Kohl's last year, they had a zipper on the side, and one day when I zipped them up the zipper just popped off. I thought it was just me being a dumbass, but sure enough I returned them for another pair and the same thing happened, even as I was being extra gentle the second time. Kohl's is fine for buying a couple of flannel shirts or whatever, but unless it's Nike or another similarly trusted brand I would not buy shoes there.

I bought DC's there for $39.99, and they are holding up, so it looks like they at least don't bootleg them.

I went to Kohl's in some dreary suburban mall in South Burlington, VT and sure enough it looked like a cheap dump for fats. My friend bought shoes there, I should ask him if they fell apart.

BTW guys, software or no software - stop trying to make AutoCAD happen, it's not going to happen!

Good Thursday evening!  I went up to Tulsa this morning and voted and got my printer from my apartment.  I'm at Grandma's now.  The first set of company is unpacking right now.  They just arrived at 1345.  We'll eat dinner at 1730.

As if waiting hand and foot on the Clan Bushie for "several family dinners" isn't going to be enough of a beating for the poor old bat.

Will there ever be such a thing as "enough gravy" at one of these get togethers?

Grumps, it's close enough to evening. 1500 for me is officially evening.  Plus, I'm yawning like it is 2100 or later.  Nap time?

Granny has been cleaning and cooking all day, no doubt.  I'm tired just thinking about all that poor woman did today prior to the invasion.

1500 is not the evening and 2100 is also too early to be yawning.

Such a peculiar one he is.  I'd bet that a farmer who is up at the crack of dawn would consider 1500 to be the evening and well enough time to be putting things away for the day.  But Bushie isn't a farmer.

It's like his weather radio ownership, and his pining for a Leave It To Beaver life.  I think he really, really wants it to be 1959.
