It will no doubt become tolerable again at 1925 when he watches the Buffalo Bills take on the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.

Of course.  All that prayer is gonna work.  Praise Jesus!

The doctor just gave me a shot and sent me home.  I am going to try something new.  I'm going to try to stay busy and ignore my headache.  I'm going to work regardless tomorrow.

How about you drink some water, put on a coat and take a walk (it's light out for another six hours). Or is ignoring general / universal health advice going to make you all better?

Either Bushie is lying about what his doctors said, or Oklahoma/the IHS has really crappy doctors.

I'm curious what he means by "try something new." I doubt anything good, but I am curious.

Yes, more "experiments," like, "Maybe another Coke will make me feel better. And if that doesn't work, another extra. Or possibly a third trip to Braum's. Or another day off work. Or several more hours of television."

Seriously, Jeff -- does it bother you that your physical health is such a mess and your body such a wreck that you are crippled from working just a week into a new position? Does it bother you at all that you do nothing to improve your health?

The former.  More like lying by omission, but yeah, lying.

I don't know why y'all bother at this point.

I'm just waiting to see if he gets a phone call from his employer or goes there and gets escorted out of the building. When the excuses and equivocations start, I'll make some popcorn.

It doesn't and that is the most f***** part of this whole thing.  He is okay with it and thinks its normal.

By the time he realizes it he will need a dozen pall-bearer's carrying his corpse

I'm at a loss as to how his parents have refused to put their feet down over these expensive habits and distractions.

Instead they're eager to keep feeding this lifestyle. Huh

Its hard to feel bad for his parents, because they are as responsible as he is. They never are tough on him and basically coddle him like he's 10 years old, and he acts like he's a little boy.

It's truly a tragedy though. The reason they do it is because of how unhappy they are in their marriage. Their greatest fear is for him to grow up and leave them alone with each other. So they coddle him and keep him around regardless of how worthless he's become.

A credible physician would tell anybody immediately and firstly that five-foot-eight pushing 300 is a no-go. Start by losing a hundred. Then chip away after that to get it as far under 200 as reasonably possible. I don't understand why Bushie wouldn't want to feel better. You just have to do it - stop eating, start moving, don't mind feeling a little hungry. It's lifestyle. You want headaches? No energy? Keep it up.

And yeah, another day off when he's very replaceable. If he's temp or trial-basis help, he's surely at least been told he won't be brought back at this point.

OK, I'm spotty on the details but how many days of work has Bushie actually completed?

I just played some games with the third set of company who arrived last night.  I had water to drink while playing.  My headache has come way down with the help of that shot.  I'll have no trouble going to work tomorrow.

It's about time to eat.  My head feels much better this evening.  I am really looking forward to getting back in the groove tomorrow.  I believe I'm fine, based on what my boss told me yesterday and today.  We'll just see what happens in the coming days and weeks.  I don't plan on missing any more days for a long time.  I need to get back and continue training and getting ready for our big onslaught of work.

So the last two days were planned then?  Oh, okay.  I get it now.

If the doctor was merciful, it would've been a shot of potassium chloride.
