It was a "Navajo Taco (Indian Taco)".  Good thing he specified that; we'd have no idea what a 'Navajo' anything is otherwise.

If Jeff ever gets his act together, he needs to send Bushie père and Bushie mère on a couple's getaway to someplace exotic (perhaps Branson). Some alone time is the least he can give them.

Absolutely!  That's a great idea, and I'm sure Bushie would be more than happy to drive them there and back too.  And perhaps personally make sure they enjoy their romantic meal together.  Maybe he'll even pretend to offer to pay for it!

Right now I am literally* back in paradise as well.  I'll be going back home tonight though, and then back in paradise again tomorrow.

* Yes, BRTD.  Literally.

What's funny is everyone here thinks I'm being lazy and not actively looking for a job and napping all day or watching 15 hours of TV everyday.

I just slept for 11 hours, so I should need a nap today, but we'll see.

That was obviously a typo.  I meant to say "should not need a nap".

Everybody (except Gustaf) wants me to succeed

Add me to that, please.

Me too! I love how the Bushie family always meet to talk strategy face to face. God forbid they speak on the phone.

Maybe this one will be an intervention!  Cheesy

Very early days, but 'The Fourth Pair of Pants' should be a contender for the title of Update XIX.

That's a biblical promise, not a personal, made-up wish.

Tomayto, tomahto.

Short of actual criminals I can think of few people who are as bad as Bushie.

These are not mutually exclusive categories.  Remember AmeriPlan?

Did you have to stoop so low as to bring up something benign from 4 1/2 years ago and call me a criminal because of it?

You poor, poor thing.  I certainly never meant to hurt your feelings!  I'm sure the pyramid scheme you used to scam your own family and got away with before the cops came knocking was all just an honest misunderstandi... oh wait, it really was; you literally had no clue what you were doing.

Also, please look up the word benign.  You clearly don't know what it means in this context.

What does it any of it matter anyway?  The world is going to end before he turns 40, when he gets handed a brand new perfect body and anything he could ever want.  (Undeniable fact.)  He certainly deserves such a fantastic reward for everything he has accomplished in life!

You guys also forget that the Bible is literally the only book he has ever chosen to read.  Nothing else even on a related subject; e.g. theological research.  It's no wonder his specific beliefs are so bizarre.  He's virtually illiterate.

What's this?  You mean to say that something related to religion is in fact a scam?!  I, for one, am shocked to my core.

Dare I ask what "clean up the meat" means?  I'm sure it's a folksy 1950's Oklahomism rather than the Oklahomoerotic euphemism it sounds like, but I'm nervous nonetheless.

I'm trying to download and install AutoCAD 2015 now.

and metrotech wanted you to think you were getting autocad for free because of them!

Wait a second... so this whole time, MetroTech was... wait for it... a scam?

I think he really, really wants it to be 1959.

1 minute before 8 o'clock?  All this military time on the previous page is getting me all mixed up.

Lief, Thanksgiving and Christmas begin today.

No, today is Halloween.  The rest of the holiday season starts tomorrow.

Bushie, how often do you use a check book to pay for things?  (Or would you, if your parents weren't already paying for everything?)

I've had a long, boring day off today, so I took some of you guys' ideas for Update-opoly and sketched this out:

CLICK FOR BIGGER VERSION

Let me know if I should make any edits.  You'll probably notice that the property color blocks are grouped by theme (except the pink block, which was a random assortment of whatever was left, but whatever).  Any further suggestions?

I've already got a ton of ideas for the Chance and Community Chest cards.

Based on Bushie's description, his office is roughly in the middle of the triangle created by the 1, 2 and 3 pins.  (2 and 3 are nothing in particular, btw)

It really ought to be a good thing that eating out for lunch is apparently too difficult (and in fairness it looks to me like it really is).  Think how much money he'll be saving by bringing a packed lunch each day... oh who am I kidding it'll be six packets of ramen noodles.

King, I have been within 500 miles of Georgia.  I spent 5 weeks working at a computer camp at Mercer University-Atlanta in June and July 2008.  I was never in Athens, but I was as close as Atlanta is to Athens.  I also have taken a week long vacation in Fort Wayne, Indiana visiting my Dad's cousins several years ago, so I was relatively close to Lexington, Kentucky.  I was in the neighboring state, anyway.  I'm not sure if I was inside 500 miles.
