Ken Buck sucks. He would have lost to Udall by mid to high single digits if he had been the candidate this year. If Northam had beat him in that 2010 primary, Bennet would be back to living a commoner's life.

Enough said. Not really sure what there is to really discuss.

Touché, Phil. Wink You actually do have a good point.

Some Democrats out here have been complacently assuming that we'll overperform expectations - on the basis that we did in 2010 and 2012. This is true to Colorado as well as to other races. But the fact is, 2014 is neither 2012 nor 2010, and there's absolutely no reason to assume these elections will have anything in common.

So, for God's sake, enough with Ken Buck.

So you think Jane Norton would have surely beaten Bennet?

No doubt about it. In fact, at the time of the primary, there was some buzz that if the result were victories for McInnis and Buck, McInnis would drop out and allow Norton to take his place; and had Norton been at the top of the ticket for Buck (instead of Tancredo/Maes weirdness), that would've been enough to drag Buck to victory.

If Ken Buck isn't willing to have a bunch of "Go Buck Yourself" bumper stickers printed up, I may just have to make them myself.
