Strongest R: Charlie Baker, Asa Hutchison, or Bruce Rauner
Strongest D: Jason Carter

Weakest R: Pete Ricketts
Weakest D: People like Charlie Brown, Goodman, Hatch, and King weren't winning anyway. Out of the competitive ones, Ed FitzGerald.

Another attackfest on Fitzy. Oh joy. Undecided

Strongest:
Republicans - Doug Ducey, a strong well-known, well-funded GOP nominee whose been running a smart campaign including on the immigration issue. Hutchinson (AR), Aiona (HI), Fung (RI), and Foley (CT) are honorable mentions.

Democrats - Jason Carter, though the runoff will keep him from winning, unfortunately despite his strength. Michaud (ME), Brown (MD), Wolf (PA), and Dorman (OK)/Balukoff (ID) are honorable mentions.

Weakest:
Republicans - Pete Ricketts, who's spending loads of money yet might still blow it again in a very red state (or come close to blowing it at least). Havenstein (NH) and Richardson (OR) are honorable mentions.

Democrats - Bob Goodman; the only Democratic candidate this year who didn't come in first for the nomination and is such a weak pick he won't be able to even break 40% in Nevada. Griffith (AL), Chrles Brown (TN), Coakley (MA) and Hatch (IA) also get honorable mentions. There's a good handful of others besides just them that come to mind as well.

Best:

D: Carter or Michaud
R: Baker

Worst:

D: FitzGerald. They fielded Some Dudes in states like NV and TN but those were always expected to be Safe R.
R: Ricketts, but that's somewhat due to they really competitive primary which wasn't really his fault.
