Downright awful, but to be expected from that terrible, morally repugnant filth. Matt Stone and Trey Parker probably would get along great with krazen though.

I mean, I think they're right about Uber being far superior to taxis and unions shouldn't be able to shut Uber down, but their portrayal of general union tactics (in this episode and others) was more of a right-wing caricature than anything based in reality.

Certainly not as bad as when Family Guy did a bit where Peter went to the "black part of town" before the apocalypse was supposed to take place and screamed the "you know what word" leading the black people to "respect him for saying it" and bestowing him with a sash that said "king of the black people"

How's that offensive? It's just Family Guy doing racial humor, not right wing crap like South Park.

Not as bad as Family Guy's anti Tea Party slander. Matt and Trey don't give a  who they offend, so who really cares?

The Tea Party is f[inks]ing trash. Why should I care about them being trashed? All progressives oppose the Tea Party.

How is it propaganda? The taxi thing is actually happening in real life (well, taxi drivers aren't literally beating up Uber drivers, but there have been union efforts to shut them down).

So it's only bad for shows to make fun of groups that you like?

This, but the episode wasn't even really about unions.  The payoff to the summer camp storyline was excellent, but otherwise it was a pretty mediocre episode.  This has been a pretty "meh" season so far.

Yes. I hate when Family Guy makes fun of Christians but that's the only time the show has offended me. It attacking conservatives and the Tea Party is AWESOME.

Yeah, I didn't even notice it until it was pointed out by HockeyDude in the other thread.  It was like 25 seconds.  BRTD's obsession with SP is weird.

One shouldn't take one's political views from a television show.

Other way around.  I watch TV shows that coincide with my political views.

Then you have a horrible case of confirmation bias. You can't base yourself on that.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Source: When I was 14/15, my political views literally WERE "Whatever Trey Parker and Matt Stone say".
