I really like the Patriots', Jets', Giants', Falcons', Panthers', Rams', 49ers' (obviously), Broncos', Texans', Titans', Jaguars', Ravens' and Steelers' uniforms.

I would say the best out of those would have to be the Jaguars'

Dolphins, Raiders, Ravens.

Best is probably the Dolphins with their all white and aqua.

San Diego's Powder Blues.

Rams, Bengals, Broncos, 49ers, Eagles (green), and Cardinals are up here too.

No order but my faves:

Cowboys blues, Chargers powder blues, Steelers bumblebees, Rams yellow style not gold.

Colts have the best non-alternate homes, Ravens have the best "new style" jerseys.

Steelers
Browns
Jets
Bengals
Panthers

Ravens have the worst.

BTW, is there a reason why some teams wear their white uniforms at home?

BTW, is there a reason why some teams wear their white uniforms at home?

Darker colors absorb more heat so the team wearing white has a not-insignificant advantage in hot weather (home team has the first choice of colors)

Also many teams will play white-at-home against the Dallas Cowboys because the Cowboys apparently think their blue uniforms are cursed

I am going to be a bit parochial here; but the Patriots' alternate/throwback uniform is my personal fave. Wish they would go back to it for their standard one.

yeah, that gradiated helmet is awful.  Tampa's new uniforms are really bad too.

as for good, I'll go Redskins, Packers, Dallas whites, Chiefs.

they don't wear those though, they wear a modernized version with electrical-looking lettering and no number on the helmets.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the powder blues? I think they look like really bad college uniforms, à la Oregon and Maryland's "wackier" jerseys:

What some of the universities are doing is a little too much for me - i.e., Maryland and Oregon. I think Oregon has a new one for every week, and some of them are really outlandish.

The red and white Patriots uniform is great and such a better uniform than the bland gray and navy official one with the ugly "flying Elvis" logo.

Anyway, here's the Dolphin uni:

I'll never buy into this. I'll always associate the former with decades of losing and the latter with a successful dynasty.

I'm fine with them wearing them once or twice a year but I'll prefer the modern look. I wouldn't mind them making an alternate that is the modern look but in red.

An improvement, but I still prefer Pat Patriot to the current logo. I'm not old enough to have known the red uniform days, but I am old enough to remember the Pats still being perennial losers prior to the Brady era; if they could redeem the mediocre modern uniforms they could redeem the much more attractive older ones.

the reasons the Pats created that new red alternate is because teams are forbidden from wearing multiple helmet designs in a season.  this was effective for the 2013 season, iirc.

The way it ended was not magical.

The red jersey is a vast improvement and maybe a good compromise. The navy and gray with that logo just isn't good, IMO. Really ugly and bland.

There is superstition with uniforms too - I've heard often that the Broncos are superstitious about those old orange and blue ones with the "D" from the '70s - '90s, but I don't know.

the reasons the Pats created that new red alternate is because teams are forbidden from wearing multiple helmet designs in a season.  this was effective for the 2013 season, iirc.

Didn't know that! Interesting. They were getting a bit carried away with the throwback attire a few years ago, I guess (remember those godawful Packers - with brown helmet to simulate the old leather helmet - and Steelers throwbacks?), but I don't necessarily approve of that rule either. I like the alternates or throwbacks once or twice a year, just not 1922 throwbacks, lol. They're hideous for the most part, IMO.

If you guys are referring to the picture wormy posted, it's a fan mock-up. The Patriots currently do not have an alternate red uniform.
