$0. I pay $50 a month for internet, which I split halfway with my roommate. $0 for landline phone too.

To be fair, my mom still pays for my cell phone though.

$186/month, for cable (w/HBO, several "tiers" and a DVR), phone and internet.  Too much.  It was well over 200 until we dropped the DVRs in the bedrooms a few months back.

58$ which gives me 20mbps internet and a package that is billed as "locals only" but which I've found also lets me see AMC, ESPN, ESPN2, TBS, Bravo, etc. I also shell out 9 bucks a month for Netflix and hope they bring King of The Hill back.

My roommate and I split about $80 a month on a cable/wifi package. I hardly ever watch TV though.

$200 for tv internet phone, which is robbery.  I could probably cut it by 30-40% by switching providers, but my 84 yr old grandfather watches tv all day and change freaks him out.

Last time I had cable was back in 1999 when basic cable was included in the rent.  (The way the apartment tower was wired, they had no choice, as they had connected up the basic cable to what had formerly been the wires connected to the antennas at the top of the building as running individual runs for cable was out of the question.)  I'd picked the place more because of the location than the "free" cable.

I pay $138 per month for Google Fiber TV (comes with roughly 500 channels, lots of on-demand stuff and DVRs for every connected TV), Google Fiber internet, Netflix and Hulu Plus.

Comcast was similar.  We had $95 for the first two years, then it went up to $149, so I called and they said that if I did the "triple play" option it would decrease to $129, so that's what I have now.  Cable TV with some premium package and HBO; BLAST internet; telephone.  We got the telephone over the summer.  How is it cheaper if I get the telephone line?  It's a promotional deal, sir.  But it's 149 with cable and internet, 129 with cable, internet, and phone.  It's a promotional deal, sir.  I don't need a phone.  I don't think I own a phone that plugs into the wall.  We just give you a phone number, sir, and you don't have to use it.  I have no idea what that phone number is.  I have it written down somewhere but I've forgotten it.  I've never even plugged a phone into the wall to see if it works.  Somewhere, in a box in the basement there's an old touch-tone phone and if I ever run across it I may plug it in to see if I get a dial tone.

I think we'll lose HBO after the holidays.  That'll make it $115.  We'll keep the BLAST.  (I'm sure that stands for something but I'm not sure what.)  They claim that it's 50 Mbps but the fastest test speed I ever got was 34, and it's typically more like 20 or 21.  Still, it's probably faster than the alternatives.

$0. I have a $10 HDTV antenna for local channels, 20mbps high speed internet bundled with my apartment, and then I freeload on my parents DirecTV account to get HBOGO and Sunday Ticket on my PS3, but that costs them nothing. It's pretty good.

I think we'll look into that next summer.  The internet+TV rate they advertise now is $74.99 but requires a 2-year agreement.  I think we'll move over the summer and at that time I'll consider the options.

Around $80 for a "flex plan" that includes a modem rental as well as access to HBO and Starz channels.
