I haven't spouted off any ad hominem attacks. I've simply pointed out that your arguments here don't make any sense.

Neither do yours or AdamGriffin's.

By your own admissions ballot placement doesn't affect sh*t in the game, but it affects competition?

Double negative much?

I don't mean to be a pest, but this is really a pot calling the kettle black situation.  Even if Sawx is being a bit of a hack and trumpeting this as a campaign issue (he is), you haven't done as smashing of a job putting down his points as you think you have.  If anything, you've damaged your own credibility, for the argumentative reasons I outlined above.

Nope. I can count on one hand the number of people in this game currently who'd be motivated by the dynamic produced in this bill, it has absolutely nothing to do with their personal casting of votes, and just about every one of them is dormant at the moment. Strong party and movement leaders come and go. That's who we're talking about here when it comes to "competition": the people who move things about, enjoy the mechanics that come with it, organize efforts and compete for the mere sake of competition. I'm one of them. People like this come and go, as do parties, as does the balance of power in a given region. That's why to talk about it in a partisan element is so short-sighted, because just about every ideology and every major party has had a plurality hold on just about every region in just the past two years I've been here.

Everybody else - as in, the uber-uber-vast majority of voters, aren't going to be affected by this in the slightest. Zilch. Nada. And if by some reason they are convinced to vote for a party or person at the top of the ballot against their own will because that party's at the top of the ballot, well, then they're idiots. Again, that's not the purpose of it, and I think very few people get that because very few people operate on the level of what this i

The voting period is now over. By a vote of 0-3, this bill fails.
