Salinas should have been institutionalized. They made a decision to kill that girl and they knew what they were doing, even if they were under the age of ten.

Salinas should have been institutionalized. They made a decision to kill that girl and they knew what they were doing, even if they were under the age of ten.

In all fairness, it seems more like a very tragic accident. It's hard to expect a four-year old to understand gun safety and what he was really doing with it. The blame lays with his idiot parents leaving a loaded firearm within a child's reach (who the f**k does that?). Also, kids play war all the time and it hardly makes them killers.

The troubling thing is, of course, Salinas' rather boasting about being a "hero" by "killing her with one shot". That required a complex help.

Grover Cleveland executed 2 or 3 men as Sheriff of Erie (Buffalo).

Daddy Bush almost certainly killed men while flying in WWII.

Washington, Monroe and Teddy probably killed people, also in war.

Possibly another candidate:

Carlos Julio Arosemena Monroy, president of Ecuador (1961-1963)

Honorable Mention (thank God, nobody died) goes to:

Otto Arosemena Gómez, Arosemena Monroy's own cousin, and president of Ecuador (1966-1968), who was in 1980 involved in a crazy parliamentary incident.

Some (unbloody) footage of the incident. Arosemena Gómez was later sentenced to a month in prison for the shooting and then resumed his seat in Congress.

Juan Carlos I killed his brother... I know he's not a President, but he deserves a honorable mention.

Former Thuringian minister-president Dieter Althaus and former Bavarian minister for economics Otto Wiesheu were both convicted of involuntary manslaughter... for causing a skiing accident in Althaus' case and a car accident while driving under the influence of alcohol in Wiesheu's case. Althaus was in office when it happened, while Wiesheu became a member of the Bavarian cabinet eight years after being convicted.

West German minister for displaced persons Theodor Oberländer was convicted in absentia in an East German show trial for war crimes against Jewish civilians during WWII. Despite being a kangaroo court, the allegations made against him weren't possibly unjustified either...

I should probably do a megapoll.

Grover Cleveland executed 2 or 3 men as Sheriff of Erie (Buffalo).

Yes, but carrying our death sentences doesn't constitute "murder" in the eyes of law. (Ugh)

Killing in combat doesn't constitute criminal murder either.
