Please Keystone Phil, I know Mcconnell will be reelected, so no need to write in Mconnell win/republican majority Tongue.

I'm just curious!

Option 2. No-brainer.
It's a win-win situation.

Option 2. We regain the Senate in 2016 and the nail-biter seats we lose (CO, IA, GA) we reclaim with high turnout in 2020.

Getting McConnell out of the Senate seals the deal for option 2.

Option 2 by far, Senate control by a few seats isn't worth the price of gourmet turtle stew

As much as I despise the turtle, he's not worth sacrificing all these potential judicial nominations. Option 1. Though option 2 occurring would be quite hilarious.

Good question! I vote option 1, but I'd be happy with any of them.

I realize the Red Avatars (and others) here dislike McConnell, but would Majority Leader Cornyn be that different?

Democrats keeping the Senate is the most important thing for this election cycle. It has to happen at any cost.

Option 1: Things have fallen to pieces since 2010, it would just be more gridlock and eventually Dems being the Party of No and all sorts of terrible legislation in-between if the GOP wins, it's worth McConnell still around.

2020 will probably boot McConnell out if Grimes doesn't I reckon. It was close in '08 too after all. Option 2 would be hilarious though.

It's a tough call, but I'm from Kentucky, and I have enough pride in my state that keeping it clean from McConnell's Tea Party extremism is a priority.

Option 2. We have to get Boehner, Pelosi, Reid, and McConnell out of politics somehow no matter what the cost, so let's start the job this year with McConnell.

Option 2 because it's funnier. I don't think having a barely Democratic senate is worth it when we've still got a Republican House anyway.
