Both candidates were good (something I can only really say about two other elections in US History), but I prefer Tilden.

Tough choice, but since Thomas Hendricks was absolutely detestable and bigoted (1884's case of Blaine is the lone reason to support a ticket with this guy on it) and Hayes went into that compromise hoping for some continued progress for black people...

I'm giving it to Hayes
