The guy has no clue what he's talking about.

Democrats have a +5 advantage in requested ballots and both parties will have a 85-90% return rate by election day.

That means, even if Republicans have a small lead in returned ballots right now, Democrats will be back up over the next 10 days.

You have entirely missed the point. At this time in 2010, democrats led by 16,000 votes. As of yesterday, republicans have sent in 305 more early votes than democrats.

There is no doubt the democrats will win in the early vote. The disconcerting thing is that it will be at a significantly smaller number than usual, and republicans always win election day voting in Iowa. In 2012, republicans beat dems by 45,000 on election day.

That's what they said about Chuck Grassley...

Grassley is much more moderate than Ernst will ever be.

Eh, Pat Toomey was supposed to be the most conservative guy due to his leadership in Club for Growth, and he's moved to the center due to his state. I'm sure Ernst does the same.

Why? They seem pretty aligned ideologically.

Political analysis by the media is almost always inaccurate.

When the U.S. Government inevitably decides Chuck Grassley's rights should be taken away, he won't take out his gun to shoot at it.

Literally cannot make heads or tails of what's going on in Iowa.
