He has very favorable things to say about her. Wouldn't expect this from the father of a candidate.

If Nunn doesn't win this year, she could still be pretty potent in 2016.

If it's someone popular in GA... and the ad pokes fun of that element. It's actually a very effective ad for undecideds.

I agree on that. She could make the Senate race against Isakson pretty competitive, and she would surely be assisted by having an electorate friendlier to her party than the one expected this midterm. Nunn has proven to be a capable candidate in her own right.
I have a hard time seeing her actually beat Isakson, but it will be close and the republicans will have to throw a bunch of money over there to save him. But if Isakson retires, then all bets are off and it probably starts out at Pure Toss-Up.

Or if Isakson retires, and we get a 2014-redux clown car primary (with many of the same members running again...)

Win or lose, she's run one of the best campaigns this season.

Just about. If Georgia was even just a a couple points more Democratic, I'm reasonably certain she'd have this one in the bag.

He's only 76, but he got elected (like most Georgia Democrats of yesteryear) at a really young age (34), so that's why it seems like he's ancient.
