I chose some standard options and a rather "out there" choice.
Lincoln (duh) Grant (a fundamentally good, if naive man) Hoover (a phenomenal philanthroper who simply was overwhelmed by the choices he had to make) Arthur (went against his "faction" for what was right.)
and this is the curveball:
Taft - next to the showy bombastic nature of TR, Taft rather gets lost amongst the shuffle. But Taft - like many of the Presidents who had no real desire for the office; he was unpretentious and not obsessed on "legacy". If you compare him with the "progressives" he is sandwiched between he really seems like a breath of fresh air.
I actually clicked Harding in lieu of Arthur, because I do think his corruption was more of the Grantian naivete than Nixonian conniving malice; as well as his support for anti-lynching. But then I thought about his screwed up personal life and decided I couldn't endorse someone like that.
Dishonorable mentions: Wilson, Johnson, Hayes, Harrison
