PGA Tour President Ted Bishop was impeached Friday, for falling into a social media trap, referrering to Ian Poulter in the following fashion;
Bishop apologized, but it was not enough to save his job (Which was up for election in a month anyways).
While this seems heavy-handed by the PGA board, they likely were faced with losing a large percentage of their female membership. That being said, given his term ended in a month, there should have another solution here.
