This should be interesting. Your options are in the poll above, I've excluded everything I have rated as Safe R/D.

Note: In this hypothetical, you are guaranteed victory in all of the other competitive races. So, basically, this is a poll of which republican governor/governor candidate you like the most among non-safe races.

I'm probably Coakley's only defender here, but...Massachusetts. I considered RI but even though I like Coakley more than Raimondo, Baker is far better than Fung.

Rhode Island. Raimondo isn't a real Democrat and we have supermajorities here anyway.

EDIT: Actually, change to Massachusetts, after reading about that scandal that wormyguy posted.

Same. I think Coakley gets an unfair rap on the Atlas and I hope she wins come election day, but Charlie Baker isn't nearly as bad as all the other Republicans running for governor.

Massachusetts, because Baker isn't that bad, and he'll be kept in check by the MA Legislature.

Rhode Island. Anything to stop Raimondo from trying to get into the federal government and to have her be a lesson to Democrats everywhere that you don't screw over public-sector unions.

A moderate (but still left-of-center) Indie: obviously, a Massachusetts. Both because Baker is, probably, the most moderate of 36 Republican governor candidates, and because of Democratic dominance of Massachusetts legislature..

Idaho, considering the Dem candidate voted for Romney and he was a long shot anyways. Wisconsin, Kansas, Michigan, and Maine are the races I want democrats to win the most. I'm not terribly concerned with the results of MA, RI, HI, and MD

I literally couldn't care less if Coakley lost. I'd possibly even consider voting Baker if I were in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts. Coakley is an awful candidate and awful person in just about every regard, while Baker is perhaps the most tolerable Republican in the running this cycle. All in all, I could think of worse losses.

I would vote for Pennsylvania. Corbett isn't that bad. However, here I'm going to pick MA. Baker seems to be ok.

Massachusetts, Baker seems like a sensible moderate guy. I would vote for him if I lived in Massachusetts.

Why are you such a Corbett fanboy? Do you hate public education or something?
