1952. Earl Warren from California is chosen to be the Republican's choice for president. Warren chooses Henry Cabot Lodge from Massachusetts for Vice President.

The Democrats choose Scott Lucas from Illinois . He chooses Dwight D. EisenHower from New York as his running mate.

Eisenhower as running mate? That's pretty hard to imagine. However, it would be a narrow Republian victory. Lucas was already brandmarked as "soft on communism" in his lost bid for reelection in the Senate against Everett Dirksen two years before. Ike heps him a lot; but without his it would a republian landslide; simlular than in real life.
