(Minneapolis, MN) In a strange turn of events, the Most Serene Squirrel has endorsed Charles Darwin, a write-in candidate, for Governor. In his statement, he stated FitzGerald's support of creationism being taught to children in public schools and FitzGerald's belief that Midwest voters make stupid decisions as the reasons for endorsing Darwin.

In this race, which FitzGerald leads Darwin eight votes to seven, this endorsement could change the dynamics of the race.
