I believe that it's time for the region to get a new flag, both to represent the history we've went through since the previous model was adopted, but also because modern software programs allow for increasingly complex designs to tell our regions story while still looking good.

Not bad, but the saltire seems... crooked.

It's called a half-saltire and was added instead of a full one because not having the saltire go to each corner looks better and is more unique.
