Swedish artist sentenced for 'racist' art

Yeah, pretty embarrassing for Sweden.

A black friend of mine was really offended when her white male friend told her she couldn't be racist due to her skin colour, mansplaining to her that she didn't understand how racism works.

Oh yes, I have always found the whole only White people can be racist well kind of racist and not primary toward White people, more to the non-White people, as it put them in some kind of position as the noble savages. Of course that's only when White people use the argument. When non-White say it, I just see them as common racists.

The paintings which caused Dan Park to be jailed for racism in Sweden is now being shown in Denmark. There was a exhibition preview in the Danish parliament yesterday, and there will be a full exhibition in a gallery starting on Monday. Where exactly is not known as the artist who was originally hosting the exhibition withdrew as his gallery was vandalised and he received death treaths.

The Swedish courts concluded otherwise. I know it's not sanctionned by the government, but it's apparently organised by a party which is a member of the Opposition Alliance and which will be likely in government next year.

I know it's not sanctioned by the government, but it's apparently organised by a party which is a member of the Opposition Alliance and which will be likely in government next year.

1) What an opposition party choose to do to promote themselves is still not equal to what Denmark as a state does.

2) DPP is not a member of an "opposition alliance", since there is no formal alliance between the centre-right/right opposition parties, which have very different policies on a number of issues - including the economy and EU. There is zero chance that DPP will be in government after the election. The Liberals don't want it and neither do the DPP leadership (since they think they will get more influence outside government). It is almost guaranteed that a coming centre-right government will be a Liberal minority government.

Park does not advocate lynchings. The meaning of "Hang on Afrobians" has been discussed earlier in the thread, I suggest you read it.

*The Party of the Swedes, among many other disgusting things, advocates expelling everyone who've immigrated to Sweden since the 1970s if they do not live up to the "western cultural legacy". The party was formed in 2009 from an organisation called "Nationalsocialistisk Front". I'll bet it doesn't take you a long time to figure out the ideology.

Yeah, Danish left wing portal Modkraft had a lot about it. I was influenced by Jens Martin Eriksen on this, since I have a lot of respect for him, but apparently he didn't do his homework on this one.
