Not necessarily. I mean, Terry and the NRCC must have been pretty desperate (and therefore probably trailing) to air that race baiting ad. I have a feeling it's going to backfire a la Godless/Aqua Buddha and Ashford will win this.

Losing Terry would actually increase the GOPs chances of holding the seat in the future. Terry is a chronic underperformer.
