The Republican President ranked highest by historians and the Democratic President ranked highest by historians are both mysteriously brought back from the dead one day and, because they were both President before the Twenty-Second Amendment was ratified, are eligible to run for President again. They both decide to do so in 2016, and they both end up winning their respective parties nominations. Discuss with maps.

Almost impossible to answer. That depends much on where Lincoln would stand on the current issues. Taxes, minimum wage, fracking, gay marriage, health care and foreign crises weren't an issue in his days. FDR is closer to that.
I think the scenrio would be interesting with Reagan instead of Lincoln. He's the highest rated modern republican president.

The reason I didn't use Reagan is because he seems to be much more polarizing than FDR, although I realize how nonsensical it is to use 100+ years old political figures in modern matchups.

I don't think Lincoln would carry the deep South.

Lincoln wouldn't win Illinois since Chicagoland would go FDR with a huge margin.

Something like this?

I feel like Lincoln would win over many traditional Northeastern Republicans and have a very strong midwestern appeal while FDR would win the South.
