It really depends. Either of those can kinda-sorta function well or suck horribly, and it's not necessarily a function of political spectrum

Left-wing theocracy.

A theocracy would be more likely to do charitable things, less likely to say "I got mine, screw you,na na na na"

A Randian Objectivist society is the literally the only thing worse than a right-wing theocracy.

Objectivism might just be the worst "ideology" ever created.

Your post merely indicates that you know nothing about Randian Objectivism. Intelligent people with money don't thumb their noses at poor people. They hire them. That natural process has been thwarted by a litany of terrible tax regulations and ill-conceived social programs.

Randian Objectivism is not my favorite because it allows the market to indulge in irrational self-preference (e.g. John D. Rockefeller), but it is vastly superior to a left-wing command economy and theocratic social sphere.

They are both horrible choices in their own way, but I'll go for the one where I won't die of starvation.

What is a left wing theocracy? And what would be the difference between that and a right wing theocracy?

Anyway, I would much rather live in a selfish society than in one where religion is the law.

Never a theocracy. Ever, any kind.

I have skills and education that would allow me to make it in the 2nd option if it came down to it.

I can see either one ending with large numbers of people dying, so I'm largely indifferent.

I'd rather live in a left-wing dictatorship than a Randian Objectivist society.

Remember libertarians, Randian Objectivism shares few similarities with the nightwatchman Libertarianism advocated by Nozick: it is a cruel ideology in which the marginalized would be made to suffer and where charity would be disdained.

Yeah, they are both awful choices if you ask me. My preference would be to leave.
