I wanted to revisit this. Mecha got kinda lazy and failed to make an amendment that would have made his original bill on changing this law become successful. The Governor was open to removing this section based on what he said during the other thread's debate, so I'm hopeful we can get this through.

The bill has passed 1-0 and will be sent to the Governor. In accordance with the recent Supreme Court ruling, Hifly is barred from holding office and his vote is considered void.
