She said that Obama is not popular in the South because he is African-American, and Landrieu isn't doing well in the Senate race because the state s sexist, at least that's what it sounded like to me.

Maybe that's true for about 1-2% of the population, but she's acting like a white liberal Democrat in the Oval Office would be popular in the South because he's white, and it has nothing to do with the region's political ideology.

Did anyone expect her supporters not to back her? It is an obvious strategy to try to rally the African-American vote, and it may work.
