They put Gwen Graham but not Patrick Murphy? They could've bumped it to a nice round 20.

The owner of politics1.com is a former Democratic political operative named Ron Gunzburger who lives in Florida, so he may know something.  He has Patrick Murphy as a potential candidate in the 2018 governor race.

Given how high up Xavier Becerra is, I doubt that he'd abandon it for a senate run.

Given how ambitious she is, Tulsi Gabbard should really be on that list. I can definitely see her challenging Schatz, sadly.

Per politics1.com

1.Karen Bass, D, California
2.Xavier Becerra, D California
3.Raul Ruiz, D, California
4.Loretta Sanchez, D, California
5.Jackie Speier, D, California
6.Ed Royce, R, California

Of the Californians, Loretta is the only one I could actually see launching a campaign. Becerra will knock the idea around publicly for a while before ultimately declining and returning to the House. I could see him as Speaker in the 2020's. Royce will never engage in such a hopeless and pointless endeavor. Bass already declined. Ruiz and Speier are too low on the totem pole.

I'd add Matt Salmon, Patrick Murphy and David Schweikert.

As a primary oppponent?  Dan Coats has already said he's planning to run again.  Of course he could change his mind.
