So Governor elections actually didn't end up a little better than Senatorial ones, as the polls suggested ? I really thought they would. It is not a good Dem night at all. I don't think it's a real wave, but very very short of that.

Coakley's prospects actually look better than a lot of other competitive Democratic gubernatorial candidates. Urgh.

Hickenlooper should hold Colorado,at least.
Still think that Brown wins MD. No clue at all about Maine and Connecticut.

Rick Snyder has been re-elected also, 52 to 46.

It wasn't even close.

When I saw Rauner was beating Quinn in Alexander county, I knew the race was over. Quinn is only getting 64% of Cook, but more importantly he only has a 330K vote lead in Cook. A Dem needs about a 500K margin there to win statewide.

Boy oh boy. Brownback may pull this out too.  GOP landslide happened tonight folks.  Hickenlooper really struggled.

It's as if the Democrats were overpolled by an average of five points in most races. So it seems.

I think Quinn got 63% in Cook 4 years ago, but the fact that most of the outstanding vote is probably Republican means that Rauner's probably got this.  The fat lady's warming up.

Well, so much for that "polls haven't had a Republican bias since 2002" thing. I guess we were overdue.
